Course news

On The Course

Whilst I was in the shop today I glanced out onto the 18th and saw Steve on the 18th green hand cutting. The greenkeepers have been hard at work, maintaining the course ready for our return to golf and you can see the 18th green is looking good.

If you click on the video below you can watch a short video of Steve in action, I must admit there is something very satisfying watching a green being cut.

New Stock Arriving

As mentioned in previous newsletters we have new stock arriving over the coming weeks which we will let you know about as it comes in. To make way for the new stock there is some clearance stock available which I have added to eBay.

There are also 3 Callaway woods on there that we are selling for a member and when they sell, there will be a credit added to their shop account. If you have old clubs we can turn them into a voucher to use in the shop, contact us if this is something you would like to do.

Golf on Tour

Hatton outshines McIlroy

Rory McIlroy opened the new European Tour season in an all-too-familiar fashion last weekend. The Northern Irishman was part of a fascinating tug-of-war battle with Tyrrell Hatton at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, only to be completely outplayed by Hatton during the final 18 holes.

Just about every player’s bag was brimming with new, exciting-looking equipment; both Hatton and McIlroy heading into battle with brand-new drivers and fairway woods from their respective brands.

Do you know about Bushnell?
